Every day, you should be fighting for your life.
I don’t mean you should be fighting to stay alive. I mean that you should be fighting for a better life. You should be fighting for more secure surroundings, because research reveals a significant relationship between personal security and well-being. You should fight for more healthy human connections, because research tells us that human connection significantly enhances physical and psychological health. You should be fighting for greater fulfillment because otherwise your time on this planet will amount to little more than managing your suffering. And what a waste of time that is.
